Life of Raman singh the Ex-Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

Raman Singh is an Indian politician and was the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from November 2005 to December 2018. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Raman Singh was born on 15 October 1952 in the state of Chhattisgarh. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Government Science College, Raipur. He also obtained a Law degree from the same college. After completing his studies, he started working at a Government hospital in Kawardha.

Raman Singh entered politics in 1980 when he joined the Janata Party. In 1985, he was elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kawardha. He was re-elected in 1990, 1993 and 1998. In 1999, he was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) from Rajnandgaon constituency.

In 2003, Raman Singh was made the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. The following year, he was made the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He was re-elected in 2008, 2013 and 2018.

During his tenure as Chief Minister, Raman Singh implemented several welfare schemes for the people of Chhattisgarh. His government launched the Mukhyamantri Amrit Yojana, which provided free medical treatment to the people of the state. He also launched the Antyodaya Yojana, which provided financial assistance to the poor and vulnerable sections of society.

The government of Chhattisgarh also implemented various schemes to encourage industrialization and development in the state. Under the leadership of Raman Singh, the government of Chhattisgarh implemented the Industrial Investment Promotion Policy, under which industrial units were set up in the state. The government also provided infrastructure facilities such as roads, power and water to the industries.

Raman Singh also launched the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in Chhattisgarh, which provided employment opportunities to the rural poor. Under this scheme, the government provided employment to the rural poor for at least 100 days a year.

Raman Singh also implemented several programs to improve the education and health facilities in the state. He launched the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, which provided free education to children between the ages of 6 and 14. He also implemented the Janani Suraksha Yojana, which provided free medical care to pregnant women.

Raman Singh was praised for his efforts to improve the lives of the people of Chhattisgarh. He was awarded the Best Chief Minister award in 2007. In 2014, he was awarded the Best Chief Minister award by the People’s Choice Awards.

Raman Singh was an able administrator and a popular leader. He was respected by the people of Chhattisgarh for his hard work and dedication. He was instrumental in bringing about economic and social development in the state. His tenure as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh was one of the most successful in the state’s history.
