Dhanush Biography: Venkatesh Prabhu was born on the 28th of July 1982 and became known by his stage name Dhanush as an Indian movie actor director producer writer director screenwriter lyricist screenwriter singer performing in Tamil film. Dhanush married Aishwarya daughter of superstar Rajinikanth on 18 November 2004. Together they had two boys named Yatra and Linga born between 2006 and 2010 respectively.
Dhanush first made an appearance in Thulluvadho Ilamai, directed by his own father Kasthuri Raja in 2002, which depicts the transition between childhood and adulthood. Over the past fifteen years he has appeared as a character in over 25 films; winning best actor at the 58th National Film Awards for Aadukalam (2010); his track “Why This Kolaveri Di” went on to be watched more than 100 Million times on YouTube; producing films through Wunderbar Films with co-financed Visaranai as well as winning 7 Film fare Awards;

Dhanush (Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri), was born July 28th 1983. He is an Indian writer, producer actor dancer music director lyricist director who is actively involved in Tamil cinema. He has received several prestigious awards such as Film Fare Award, Vijay Awards, Edison Awards and National Film Awards – for his hit song titled ‘Why This Kolhaveri Di’. Dhanush was raised in an esteemed Tamil family where his father Kasthuri Raja worked as both banker and director. Dhanush entered the film industry under pressure from Selvaraghavan (his elder twin brother). In 2004, Dhanush married Aishwarya (Rajinikant’s daughter). They are proud parents to two daughters named Linga and Yatra together.
Music-wise, Rajinikanth usually records in his own films rather than recording music for other productions. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja used him in Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan as a backing vocalist, and in Aayirathil Oruvan and Mayakkam The Enna from Selvaraghavan films as backing vocalist, one even featuring Aishwarya Rajinikanth!
